Abstract - Four new Oriental species of the genus Trox (s. str.) F. are hereby described. One of them (T. lama n. sp., from SE Tibet) belongs to the species-group "sabulosus" (L.), another one (T. cambodjanus n. sp., from Cambodia) belongs to the species-group "mandli" Balth., while the last two (T. cambeforti n. sp., from China, and T. brahminus n. sp., from the Malay Peninsula) belong to the species-group "opacotuberculatus" Motsch. The work is completed by a key to Palaearctic and Oriental species-groups and original drawings of the male genitalia of some species.
