Abstract - Notes are provided on the habitat and geographic distribution of Copidita interrupta Lea (Coleoptera: Oedemeridae). This species appears to be mostly restricted to coastal and island mangrove communities in Queensland and New South Wales, Australia. In north-eastern New South Wales, adults may be found during the day in early summer resting on the trunks of the Grey Mangrove, Avicennia marina (Forsk.) Vierh. var. australasica (Walpole) Moldenke (Avicenniaceae), or in dead branches and stems of the same. The larvae possibly develop in the wood of this plant species.
