Abstract - Aubeonymus meregallii n. sp. from central Spain (Coleoptera Curculionidae) - This new species appears related to A. danieli González and A. franzi González from northern Spain. It is easily distinguished from the former by the rounded prothorax (which is rectangular in A. danieli) and from the latter by the smaller size (3.10 vs. 4.15 mm in length) and by the less sharp and distinctly less anteriorly prominent humeri.
