Abstract - A new species of Scatimus (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Scarabaeinae) from Costa Rica - A new species of Scatimus, S. erinnyos, is described from Costa Rica. Both sexes could be studied. The dorsal habitus of the new species, as well as the head in dorsal view, are illustrated. A map indicating the known distribution of the species in Costa Rica is included.
