Abstract - A fully illustrated work (mainly by photographs) on Xylotrechus buqueti (Laporte & Gory) and other related species, for which three groups are proposed. Pronotal and female pygidial ratios are considered in the taxonomic analysis. Xylotrechus brevicornis Pascoe, 1869 is a synonym of Xylotrechus buqueti (Laporte & Gory, 1836).
