The food plants of the Australian butterfly
Prosotas felderi (Murray) (Lepidoptera: Lycaenidae)

Abstract - Five new larval food plants from the genus Acacia (Mimosaceae) are recorded for the Australian butterfly Prosotas felderi (Murray) (Lycaenidae): A. floribunda, A. granitica, A. penninervis var. longiracemosa, A. podalyriifolia and A. sophorae. There are now 10 recorded larval host plants published for this butterfly, the others being Acacia leiocalyx subsp. leiocalyx (Mimosceae), Alectryon coriaceus, Cupaniopsis anacardioides and Litchi chinensis (Sapindaceae) and Macadamia integrifolia (Proteaceae).
