Abstract - Records of click-beetles (Col., Elateridae) from northern Pakistan and descriptions of two new species. I contribution - Eight species of click-beetles are recorded from northern Pakistan for the first time and two are described as new. Athousius riesei n. sp., allied to A. decorus Gurjeva from Afghanistan, is distinguished essentially for the slimmer and narrower body, the smaller II and III antennal segments, together shorter than IV. Ampedus pakistanicus n. sp. for size and colour is similar to A. ruficeps (Muls.), but the surface of its pronotum has uniform and umbilicate punctures. Ampedus radula (Cand.) was known for the type (British Museum), a male from Chamba (Punjab); the female is similar but has wider body; this species, allied to A. aethiops (Lac.) and A. turanus (Sem.), is characterized by flat elytra with strongly punctate striae and very convex intervals. Agrypnus cashmiriensis Della Beffa was described from Kashmir as species near A. crenicollis (Men.); it differs in its larger size, more convex body and longer elytra; the female preserved in Della Beffa's collection (Verona Museum) is designated as lectotype.
