Abstract - Systematic notes on some Prosopocera Bl. (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, Lamiinae) - The synonymies of some Prosopocera Bl. are here proposed. P. hintzi Aurivillius and P. infravalida Breuning are subspecies of P. belzebuth Thomson; P. pylodes (Jordan) is a valid species; the neotype of P. principalis Breuning is designated. A new subgenus of Prosopocera - Paralphitopola nov. - is established.
