A review of larval host records for twelve Australian Buprestidae
(Coleoptera)

Abstract - New larval host plant records are listed fro species of Anilara, Ethon and Melobasis (subfamily Buprestinae), Chrysobothris (subfamily Chrysobothrinae) and Strigoptera (Castalia) (subfamily Polycestinae). Larval food plants are reviewed for all these species as well as some Cyria and Diadoxus (subfamily Chalcophorinae) and two Stigmodera (subfamily Stigmoderinae). The only known host plant of Curis intercribrata Fairmaire (subfamily Buprestinae) is discussed and found to be erroneous.
