Abstract - The role of various ecological factors on the digestive capability of Epilachna dodecastigma has been studied. Temperature and relative humidity have the most profound effect on the digestion of food. Light has no significant effect on the digestion of food. The most suitable conditions for the digestion of food by this pest are 25-30 °C, 50-60% RH and light.
