Abstract - Two new species of Prioniomus Jeannel, 1937 from Halkidiki (NE Greece) (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Bembidiini) - The occurrence of the genus Prioniomus Jeannel, 1937 is reported from Halkidiki for the first time. Two new species are in fact described: Prioniomus pedemontanorum n. sp. (moczarskii group, sensu GIACHINO & VAILATI, 2011) from Varvara, and Prioniomus lombardorum n. sp. (an incertae sedis taxon, here dubitatively considered close to the moczarskii or the abnormis group, sensu GIACHINO & VAILATI, 2011) from Galatista.

Abstract - A new Otiorhynchus (Lixorrhynchus) Reitter, 1914 from Baronia, central-eastern Sardinia (Coleoptera, Curculionidae) - Otiorhynchus (Lixorrhynchus) gigantium n. sp., from hills south of Mount Albo (Baronia, CE Sardinia) is herein described. For some characteristics, the new species is close to O. (L.) consortii Magrini, Abbazzi & Cirocchi, 2001, endemic to Sardinia in the area of Lula, from which however is well distinguished by its vestigial eyes, the shorter pronotum, narrower at base and with sparser punctation, the less prominent pterygia, the dorsal carinae of the rostrum converging posteriorly rather than parallel, the larger and sharper spines of femora, the more massive and stout aedeagus in lateral view, the spermatheca with thinner, less curved cornus, and, above all, the basal armor of the internal sac of the aedeagus clearly different in ventral view. The updated sizes, on the basis of new records, of O. (L.) consortii are also given.

Abstract - A new Trechus species from the Bergamo Prealps (Coleoptera Carabidae Trechinae) - Trechus orobicus n. sp. from Mt. Alben (Orobic Prealps near Bergamo, Lombardy, N Italy) is described. It belongs to the “group of Trechus obtusiusculus” sensu JEANNEL (1927) and is strictly related to T. modestus Putzeys, and even more to T. bergamascus Jeannel, but it is easily distinguished for the different shapes of the aedeagus as a whole and the copulatory piece of the inner sac, and the colour of antennae, which are darkened.

Abstract - Trechisibus tunarii, new trechine species from the Bolivian Cordillera Oriental  (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Trechinae) - The new species was collected near the top (5035 m) of Cerro Tunari, Cordillera Oriental, Department of Cochabamba, Bolivia. It is characteristic for its depigmented integuments and the distinctive feature of the ocular regression to a whitish spot without ommatidia. Male genitalia and other characteristics are considered for comparison with the closest species.

Abstract - A new Torneuma Wollaston, 1860 from Sicily (Coleoptera, Curculionidae, Cryptorhynchinae) - A new Sicilian weevil is here described and illustrated: Torneuma angelae n. sp., collected on Mount Pellegrino (Palermo) syntopic with Torneuma deplanatum deplanatum (Hampe, 1864). The new species, very small, is easily distinguished from the other known congeneric taxa by the external characteristics, and mainly by the singular structure of the basal armor of the internal sac of the aedeagus, with four pigmented sclerites laterally: two anterior subspherical and two posterior reniform.

Abstract - Fifth contribution to the knowledge of the Agrilini of French Guiana (Coleoptera, Buprestidae, Agrilinae) - Four new species of Agrilus from French Guiana stored in the Marek collection (Czech Republic) are described: Agrilus (Agrilus) oinoicus n. sp., Agrilus (Agrilus) mareki n. sp., Agrilus (Agrilus) balatanus n. sp. and Agrilus (Agrilus) consuetus n. sp.; Agrilus (Agrilus) goryellus Thomson, 1879 is recorded for first time from French Guiana and the male of Agrilus (Uragrilus) virginiae Curletti & Brûlé, 2013 is described. With this fifth contribution, the buprestid fauna of French Guiana counts now 110 species of Agrilus.

Abstract - Typhloreicheia Holdhaus, 1924 from Sardinia: description of a new species, definition of the “doderoi” Group and unpublished data (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Scaritinae) - A new species from Sardinia - Typhloreicheia benellii n. sp. - from Mount Tonneri and Mount Perda Liana (Ogliastra) is herein described and illustrated. Characterized by a long habitus, by long elytra especially, it is distinguished from the already known species for the aedeagus and its copulatory lamella shapes. The new taxon belongs to the "doderoi" Group (sensu novo) which comprises species from central Sardinia characterized by a copulatory lamella twisted at base, short antennae, reduced elytral denticulation and rather convex body; besides the new species, belong to this group: T. doderoi (Holdhaus, 1924), T. supramontis Leo, Magrini & Fancello, 2005, T. cirocchii Magrini, 2003, T. eleonorae Leo, Magrini & Fancello, 2005 and T. jana Leo, Magrini & Fancello, 2005. Detailed photographs illustrate the new taxon and T. jana, which must be considered the closest relative, geographically and morphologically. New distribution records for other known Sardinian species of the genus are also given.

Abstract - Anophthalmus kahleni Daffner, 1998, species new to the Italian fauna (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Trechinae) - Anophthalmus kahleni Daffner, 1998 is recorded for the first time from Italy: the species was up to now known only from the Slovene cave “Jama v Malenščah” (Livek), not far from the Italian border. It is interesting to note that the species was collected [with traps] at endogean, rather than hypogean level, and syntopic with the Anophthalmus taxa baratellii Sciaky, 1985, scopolii mataiurensis G. Müller, 1935 and bohiniensis stolfai G. Müller, 1931.

Abstract - This is the first contribution that involves generic revisions of Korynetinae Laporte. As now defined, Korynetes Herbst comprises 28 species including K. brincki Winkler, which is relegated to incertae sedis status. The other previously established species are: K. analis Klug, K. ater Klug, K. coeruleus (Degeer), K. insularis Schenkling, K. latipennis Pic, K. obscurimembris Pic, K. pusillus Klug, K. romanae (Winkler), K. ruficornis Sturm, K. scabripennis Spinola. The 17 new species involve K. acutus, K. acutipennis, K. amplus, K. asper, K. rugosus, K. enodis, K. flavoapicalis, K. fragosus, K. genieri, K. globus, K. helveolicis, K. humilis, K. iodis, K. latus, K. nox, K. pandis, K. termitiaffinis. Exkorynetes Winkler and Propekorynetes Winkler are synonymized with Korynetes Herbst, Corynetes concolor Gorham with Korynetes obscurimembris Pic, Korynetes analis var. intermedius Pic with Korynetes analis Klug, Opetiopalpus bicoloriventris Pic with Korynetes insularis Schenkling, Korynetes geniculatus Klug and Corynetes pexicollis Fairmaire with Korynetes pusillus Klug, and Korynetes latipennis var. testaceipes Pic with Korynetes latipennis Pic. Lectotypes are designated for Clerus coeruleus Degeer, Corynetes ater Klug, Korynetes insularis Schenkling, K. latipennis Pic, K. obscurimembris Pic, K. pusillus Klug, and K. ruficornis Sturm. Included in this treatise are keys to Korynetes species, 27 colour photographs representing the species, 47 line drawings, three electron micrographs, a phylogenetic tree of the Korynetes species groups, and 10 distributional maps of the species.

Abstract - Two new Duvalius Delarouzée from the Ligurian Apennines and further notes on the species of Duvalius of the doderii group (Coleoptera Carabidae Trechinae) - The Author reports the results of long personal hypogean researches on the Ligurian Apennines north-east to Genoa, on the Duvalius of the doderii species group [in the restricted sense of “lignée du Duvalius doderoi” by MAGRINI (1997, 1998), and in the broader sense of “brucki group” by VIGNA TAGLIANTI (1970, 1982)]. Two new taxa belonging to this group are described: D. ramorinii radicis n. subsp., from a cave near Mt. Antola (Liguria, Brevenna Valley, GE, Carsi, “Tann-a da Reìxe” cave, n° 132 Li/GE m 875 a.s.l.), and D. alexandrinus n. sp. from Mt. Chiappo (Piedmont, Curone Valley, AL, Bruggi, m 1200 a.s.l.). Within the same group, together with D. ramorinii ramorinii (Gestro, 1887) and D. pastorellii Casale & Magrini, 2013, the new taxa represent a monophyletic and very homogeneous unit - besides the other two, more isolated and monospecific, D. doderii (Gestro, 1885) and D. gestroi (Dodero, 1900) - to be assigned to a new, separate subgroup. Moreover, new data and comments about the taxonomy and geographic distribution of Duvalius gestroi s.l. are provided.

and description of Laccobius jumlanus new species

Abstract - KNISCH (1910) described Laccobius zugmayeri based on one female specimen collected in Tibet near Pangong Lakes. GENTILI (1991), after an unsuccessful search of the type of the species, designated a specimen collected in Nepal near Jumla as the neotype. The type of L. zugmayeri was recently found in the Zoologische Staatsammlung München. It differs enough from the neotype designated by GENTILI (1991), the two types clearly representing different species. The neotype designated by GENTILI (1991) is hence set aside, and becomes the holotype of a new species, Laccobius jumlanus sp. nov.

Abstract - Two new species of Notiobia Perty, 1830 of the subgenus Diatypus Murray, 1858 and notes on Notiobia (Diatypus) picina (Chaudoir, 1878) and related species (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Harpalinae) - Two new species of Notiobia Perty, 1830 of the subgenus Diatypus Murray, 1858 from Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo are here described. Notiobia (Diatypus) aethiopica n. sp. and Notiobia (Diatypus) demeyeri n. sp. are the seventeenth and eighteenth species respectively, known so far of the subgenus. Abstract - Systematic revision of genus Cotaster Motschulsky: new synonymies and descriptions of two new species (Coleoptera, Curculionidae) - The Palaearctic weevil genus Cotaster Motschulsky, 1851 is revised for the first time. Four species are considered valid: two previously described, C. uncipes (Boheman, 1838) and C. cuneipennis (Aubé, 1850), and two new to Science, C. speziai n. sp. (north-eastern Italy, Austria, southern Germany) and C. kostali n. sp. (southern Italy). Through the study of the types, it is established that C. cuneipennis sensu auctorum is actually C. uncipes (Boheman, 1838), and C. uncipes sensu auctorum is actually C. cuneipennis (Aubé, 1850). The two following synonymies are proposed: C. cuneipennis (Aubé, 1850) (= Styphlus pilosus Motschulsky, 1851, n. syn. = C. orientalis Solari, 1941, n. syn.). The taxon described as C. uncipes f. carniolicus Voss, 1955 is actually of infrasubspecific rank, and thus the respective name is unavailable. Through the original description, Caenocotaster Voss, 1971, described as subgenus of Cotaster based on a single species from South Africa, is raised to genus rank, as follows: Caenocotaster Voss, 1971, stat. nov., and Caenocotaster remotus Voss, 1971, comb. nov. On the basis of the pattern of the punctures and vestiture of the elytral interstriae, and the shape of the antennal scape, C. speziai is more closely related to C. cuneipennis, whereas C. kostali is more similar to C. uncipes. These relationships were further supported by the study of the mt COI gene, which demonstrated a genetic divergence of 4.0-4.3% between C. cuneipennis and C. speziai, 11.9-12.2% between C. uncipes and C. cuneipennis, and 11.4% between C. uncipes e C. speziai. For each species, detailed notes on type specimens, diagnosis, description, synonymies, comparative notes, distribution, photographs and drawings of the habitus and useful taxonomical characters are provided, together with two keys to species (one in English).
