with descriptions of three new species from Africa
(Coleoptera: Carabidae, Harpalinae)

Abstract - Three new species of Amblystomus Erichson, 1837 are described: A. nyassicus n. sp. from Malawi, A. pallidipennis n. sp. from Tanzania and A. sinuaticollis n. sp. from Kenya. The habitus and male genitalia of the new species are illustrated.
