Abstract - Notes on some Pterostichini from Asia (Coleoptera, Carabidae) - In this note some observations are made on the genera Aristochroa Tschitscherine and Trigonognatha Motschulsky, for which keys to the known species are given. The name of the tribe (or subtribe), to which these genera belong, is reconfirmed as the valid Trigonognathides Tschitscherine, 1898, which has priority over Myadi Csiki, 1929. It is stated that Pterostichus ferreroi Straneo, 1989 is a subspecies of Pterostichus semirugosus Andrewes, 1947. Furthermore, Trigonognatha ferreroi n. sp. from Thailand, and Lesticus cupreoviolaceus n. sp. from Borneo are described.
