A new species of the genus Panelus from Borneo
(Coleoptera, Scarabaeidae, Scarabaeinae)

Abstract - A new species of Panelus is described from Mt. Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo: Panelus saigusai sp. nov. This species is distinct from any known congeners by having the body elongate and the dorsal side covered with densely crowded punctures and recumbent long hairs.
