Barrelater audreyae, new genus and species,
from the United States Intermountain West
(Coleoptera: Elateridae)

Abstract - Barrelater, new genus, and a new species, B. audreyae, are described from the intermountain basins of the western United States. Barrelater is most closely related to species of Athous Eschscholtz, Denticollis Piller & Mitterpacher, and Hemicrepidius Germar. Images of the adult habitus and aedeagus are provided.
