Abstract - Omostropus bulirschi, new species from Madagascar (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Harpalinae) - Omostropus bulirschi n. sp. from Madagascar is here described: habitus and male genitalia are illustrated. O. bulirschi n. sp. is the tenth species of this genus known so far and the first species known from Madagascar. Some further systematic notes on the genus Omostropus are provided.
