Abstract - Three new species belonging to the genus Steraspis Dejean, 1833 (Coleoptera, Buprestidae) are described: Steraspis (Pissteras) avis n. sp. from Malawi, Steraspis (Pissteras) amphibium n. sp. from Zambia and Steraspis (Pissteras) montana n. sp. from Tanzania.
